What is fine art and why I choose analog photography in my work.
Every couple deserves photographs that feel as timeless decades from now as they do today.
Long before I ever photographed a wedding, I found myself captivated by old family photographs. There was something about them that digital images rarely recreate—the softness of the light, the texture of film, and the quiet way they carried emotion across generations. I could hold a photograph of my grandparents in my hands and feel as though I had stepped into their story.
That fascination became an obsession with analog photography.
I immersed myself in learning the craft of film because I believed it captured something deeper than perfect poses or fleeting trends. Film has a way of preserving emotion with honesty. It invites you to slow down, to notice the light, the movement, and the moments that often become the most treasured memories.
Inspired by the warm light of Texas, the timeless architecture of Europe, and the quiet beauty of the place I once called home in Russia, I create photographs that feel both editorial and deeply personal. My work is rooted in natural light, genuine connection, and the belief that elegance never goes out of style.
My goal isn't simply to document your wedding day or.a special moment. It's to create photographs that become family heirlooms—images your children and grandchildren will one day hold in their hands, feeling just as connected to your story as I feel when I look through my own family's photographs.
Because the most meaningful photographs don't just remind us what the day looked like.
They remind us exactly how it felt.
