I’m Nika — a fine art wedding and portrait photographer working in film and digital hybrid, rooted in Wisconsin. I believe a photograph is a kind of gentle refusal, a way of holding onto what time keeps asking us to let go: the touch of a hand, the pause before “I do,” the laughter that echoes long after the evening ends. My clients are couples and families who want more than documentation — they want an heirloom, something their children will hold and recognize as love, not just history. Alongside my camera, I paint. Each custom watercolor home portrait is a hand-rendered keepsake of the place that shaped you, made slowly and by hand, the way memory deserves to be treated. Whether I’m photographing your wedding day or painting the home you built your life in, the work is the same at its core: paying close attention, and making sure nothing true gets lost. My name is Nika and I am the face behind the camera. I am a photographer, inspired by the magic of light, the intensity of your story, and the timelessness of love captured on film. My background in design and work in fashion are my guides when it comes to documenting life around me. My travels and life around the world fuel my inspiration, and my own heritage (I am born and raised in Russia) make me curious and excited about everyone I meet.

So why FOX HILL FINE ART?

Back when I was just starting my journey into this creative business, the name was suggested to me as a combination of something that defined my passions and also reflected the surroundings I was in. Eventually as life kept on, part of the original name stuck but I got inspired by what I was surrounded by…endless hills. And here we are now - Fox Hills.
